Raising Money for God's Work

Many of us have come from lives of low-incomes and experienced what we consider to be poverty. God would like to point out that, should you live in the United States and consider yourself poor, you should visit India, Ethiopia, Haiti, the Dominican Republic, Uganda, Mexico, and Alabama before you use this adjective to describe your situation.

Because God, in Her Divine Wisdom, understands that not everyone has money to support the Church of the Righteous Heathens, she has dictated through her Voice on Earth, Jennifer Robinson, some ways in which you can obtain funds for God. (Please note: Thou shalt not use these means to obtain funds for any reason other than to donate to the Church of the Righteous Heathens.)

"The saints, with their extravagance of human tenderness, are the great torch-bearers of this belief, the tip of the wedge, the clearers of darkness. Like the single drops which sparkle in the sun as they are flung far ahead of the advancing edge of a wave-crest or a flood, they show the way and are forerunners."

-William James, The Variations of Religious
Experience: A Study of Human Nature
"The Healthiest Response to Life is Laughter: This first principle serves as an antidote to fear and sorrow by encouraging you to experience life as joyous."

-Deepak Chopra, Why Is God Laughing? The Path to Joy and Spiritual Optimism
Millions of innocent men, women, and children, since the introduction of Christianity, have been burnt, tortured, fined, imprisoned; yet, we have not advanced one inch toward uniformity. What has been the effect of coercion? To make one half of the world fools, and the other half hypocrites. To support error and roguery all over the earth.

-Thomas Jefferson, 1785
Because I am a woman, I must make unusual efforts to succeed. If I fail, no one will say, "She doesn't have what it takes." They will say, "Women don't have what it takes." ~Clare Boothe Luce
"The test for whether or not you can hold a job should not be the arrangement of your chromosomes." ~Bella Abzug

"We'll have our rights. See if we don't.
And you can't stop us. See if you can."
-Sojourner Truth
Be militant each in your own way. Those of you who can express your militancy by going to the House of Commons and refusing to leave without satisfaction, as we did in the early days - do so......
Those of you who can express your militancy by joining us in our anti-Government by-election policy - do so.
Those of you who can break windows - break them.
Those of you who can further attack the secret idol of property, so as to make the Government realize that property is as greatly endangered by women's suffrage as it was by the Chartists of old - do so.
And my last word is to the Government: I incite this meeting to rebellion!....
Take me, if you dare, but if you dare, I tell you this....you will not keep me in prison.
-Emmaline Pankhurst, a militant suffragist,

October 17, 1912 at the Royal Albert Hall in London, England from Feminism: The Essential Historical Writings by Miriam Schneir

"The world has never yet seen a truly great and virtuous nation because in the degradation of woman the very fountains of life are poisoned at their source."
-Lucretia Mott
